How much money is appropriate for a wedding gift

I would say $50 or more. Thanks. :)
At least $100
The appropriate amount is the amount the guest can afford that is not going to send them into the red. If a person is trying to give enough to cover the cost of thier meal, than its really not a wedding, its a fund raising benefit dinner. If you can afford more, than by all means give generously. I got anything from $15.00 to $100.00 for my cheap evening dresses uk and I was stoked about every dollar. I know the people who gave, gave from thier hearts and I was mindful that the people who gave $15, very well could have been giving thier very last to bless me on my day.
I would say it depends on several things: your current financial state, how well you know the bride and groom, and what your history of gift giving has been. If you know each other well and typically exchange expensive gifts, then by all means go all out. But if theyre merely acquaintances or children of friends, and youre on a fixed income, send them a nice card and a small gift to let them know you were thinking about them.cocktail dress
